This quaint little Italian bistro was a great place for a quick grab and go lunch. The buffet had all kinds of things: grilled fish, baked chicken, marinated beef, potatoes au gratin, spaghetti and meatballs, as well as a variety of grilled and roasted mushrooms. There was also a salad bar, complete with a surprisingly delicious pasta salad with tuna.
I got beef, chicken, fish, grilled mushrooms, roasted squash and mixed vegetables, and a dollop of pasta salad.
Both the beef and chicken were well cooked and very nicely seasoned. The fish looked better than it tasted: It was bland and flavorless. The grilled mushrooms were fantastic! I devoured those. The roasted vegetables were lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly; not too firm or too mushy. And that pasta salad tasted homemade: like the one that everyone's favorite auntie makes and brings to the family reunion. Yum!
Checkout was a breeze and the staff were very friendly during my quick but enjoyable visit. -

This restaurant is surprisingly large. It's not particularly beautiful inside. It's more of a busy Cafe.
Don't forget that they also have some tables upstairs. There are two very large salad bar tables right when you first walk in.
The salad bar had quite a few choices. To my astonishment, the other food bar included salmon as well as well as other meats. I thought it was a pretty decent deal. If you are a vegetarian there are tons of choices.
I thought this restaurant was a nice hideaway for a informal, reasonably priced meal. It's just steps away from Market Street.
On the con side, they have no restrooms for customers. For such a big busy Restaurant, this surprised me. -

I got a decent Caesar Salad and Half Chicken for lunch. A coworker got a slice of Bacon & Mushroom Pizza. Being prepared ahead of time, the Caesar salad was lukewarm. The chicken was quite tasty.
However the problem was with the pizza. My friend got a hair in the first bite. Then she found several more hairs in the slice. ONE could be excused as a mistake. But finding multiple hairs in the food is inexcusable.
I like this place, but they need to address quality control before I go back. -

Got the caesar salad with roasted chicken (meal pal) and wow it's a lot of food. I'll be back here again indeed
